The National Prep Basketball Poll is compiled by high school sports experts Jamie DeMoney and Jeremy Plowman and a panel of sportswriters. The national Top 25 and regional Top 10's follow with last year's won-loss-tie records:

FEATS OF THE WEEK: A national ESPN2 television audience and a snowstorm-stymied crowd of less than 1,000 at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse watched the nation's top team and player perform at their collective best. Seven-foot Greg Oden had 23 points, 17 rebounds, and nine blocked shots to lead top-ranked Indianapolis, Lawrence North over regionally ranked Dayton, Ohio, Dunbar, 69-54. The game featured three members of Ohio State's top-ranked 2006 recruiting class in Oden, Lawrence North point guard Michael Conley and Dunbar shooting guard Daequan Cook . . . Chase Budinger of Carlsbad, Calif., La Costa Canyon scored an event record-tying 48 points in a 73-70 win over Lee's Summit, Mo., North at the 25th annual St. Louis Shootout. In other action, regionally ranked Memphis, Tenn., Mitchell got 30 points, 13 rebounds, six blocks, and five assists from Georgia Tech-bound Thaddeus Young in a 75-72 win over No. 22 St. Louis, Vashon . . . No. 24 Los Angeles, Westchester entered the rankings after downing regionally ranked Compton, Dominguez, 55-52, for the Westchester Tip-Off Classic championship.
